Pleune Service Company’s boiler team recently retubed a fire tube boiler at a local high school. The job consisted of removing 24 tubes that had corrosion leaks and reinstalling new steel tubes. After the tubes are placed in the shell, they are expanded and roll sealed to produce a watertight connection. Retubing boilers instead of replacing the whole boiler offers substantial savings and allows the user to extend the life of the current boiler.

If your boiler is experiencing water leaks or has poor performance issues, give us a call. Our team can determine the best course of action to address your boiler concerns.
