Story

Pleune Service Company worked with a mid-Michigan school to modernize critical mechanical systems as part of a facility renovation focused on long-term performance and reliability. Aging equipment often leads to inconsistent comfort, higher energy use, and increased maintenance demands. Addressing these challenges required a clear, methodical approach grounded in both experience and proven system design.

The project began with the removal of existing rooftop units, split systems, chillers, pumps, a dehumidification unit, and hydronic piping. Each component had reached the point where replacement offered greater value than continued repair. Careful planning and coordination ensured the demolition phase moved efficiently while maintaining a safe environment for the school community.

Following demolition, Pleune installed new HVAC and hydronic systems designed to better match the building’s needs. Updated equipment improves airflow, humidity control, and overall system balance. These improvements support a more consistent indoor environment, which is essential for both learning and daily operations.

This project reflects a practical investment in infrastructure that will serve the school well into the future. By replacing outdated systems with modern, efficient solutions, the school is positioned to benefit from improved comfort, reduced operational strain, and dependable performance for years to come.
